The founder of the company and local governors claim that Ukrainian drones attacked facilities owned by Russia’s largest online store once more, wounding fifteen people.
According to the founder, nocturnal attacks affected Wildberries’ logistics centers in two southwest cities, causing staff to escape.
Eight people were killed when warehouses in Tambov and Elektrostal were stormed over the weekend, marking the second time in four days that Ukraine has targeted the company’s facilities.
Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, declared on Wednesday that his country had attacked logistical centers “engaged in providing the Russian army with drone components, navigation systems and other gear” in the Krasnodar and Stavropol areas.
Following the attacks on logistical facilities in Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk in the Stavropol region, personnel were evacuated, according to Wildberries creator Tatyana Kim.
“There are no words to convey all the sensations and emotions provoked by the attacks on ordinary people, on our colleagues, on us, who are simply doing our jobs,” she posted on Telegram. “However, these circumstances highlight the most crucial point: we must keep doing what we do for people’s benefit.”
According to Governor Vladimir Vladimirov, five persons were injured at a warehouse complex outside of Nevinnomyssk, and they are all undergoing outpatient care.
Ten individuals were hurt in an attack on a warehouse complex in Krasnodar, with three of them in critical condition, according to Veniamin Kondratyev, the governor of the area.
After analyzing the video, BBC Verify verified that there were flames in both places.
The Russian state news agency TASS originally reported on the strikes shortly after 00:00 GMT, stating that Nevinnomyssk’s air defenses had been triggered. Soon later, dramatic footage captured by residents started to surface.
Huge columns of smoke billowing into the air and massive fires devouring the structures in both sites give the impression that the effect is significant.
